Back to Scrivener
Very early on in my writing career I wrote on a MacBook (the old plastic white one) and I used Scrivener to write my novels. When I finally ditched the Mac and went back to using Linux, I had to learn to write without that program. I bounced around for a few years to different Scrivener-like programs and eventually just went back to Write, an open source Word clone.
Recently I found a very easy install for a very old version of Scrivener that is available on Linux. I actually think it’s the same version I used on my old Mac. So I’ve imported the four completed chapters of XiniX and I’m using it to write my novel again.
I’m sure it’s just a phase, I’ll probably not stick with Scrivener for very long. But if that’s your thing and you’re on Linux. Have at it.
Looks like I forgot to post this Sunday morning again. It’s a national holiday weekend, so I’ve been busy relaxing and such.
My Tache fighter model is coming along.
Next week I’ll start the painting phase.
Also next week I’ll have another short story for you. In case you want to come back to one of the stories I’ve sent in the past, they are all being posted to my blog.
Hope you had a great weekend and are ready to face the week again.
Take care,
Ken
